Pillars implemented several Renewable Energy projects, Such as South Hebron Wind Turbines, in addition to implementing another project with BMZ/ World Vision. The assignment’s scope of work includes: design and supervision of solar energy stations, the project consists of 2 lots, the first lot included one solar energy station for Ya’bad municipality which will operates a solar plant with a capacity of 105,000 KW/year and 14 schools in the North of the WB, the second lot consist of 16 schools in the Middle of the WB, the 30 schools operate functional solar plants with a capacity of an average 8,750 kWh/school/year.

Moreover, the assignment included preparing of technical, financial and maintenance manual, in addition to awareness activities  implemented by Join Venture of Pillars Consulting and Synergy.

Pillars provides consultancy services and technical assistance in Solar Energy System’s planning, designing, implementing and following up:

  1. Preparation of specifications, technical design and blue prints of 

            Solar Panels, through:

  • Conducting sites’ visits to collect the needed data.
  • Studying the current situation, the key constrains and challenges facing the implementation of solar system in the targeted locations.
  • Assessment of the lessons learned to recommend best practices to be considered in the project implementation.
  • Presenting the available material required for the suggestion systems.
  • Preparing detailed designs for the solar energy systems and determining number of needed designs according to the technical needs.
 
  1. Supervision of Implementation the project, include:
  • Conducting site supervision for targeted locations and visiting them periodically during the implementation of the project in order to ensure that the installation is implemented according to plan and specifications.
  • LGU’s developing operation, management and maintenance manuals.
